Hello, my name is Darius. I'm 23 years old and come from Germany. I have been interested in astronomy since I was a child. I bought my first telescope in 2019 and was able to visually observe the moon and planets. At that time I didn't know that you can do astrophotography in such high quality.

The starting signal was given by the comet Neowise in 2020. I tried to photograph the comet with a normal camera. The photos were okay, but could be improved. On the Internet I searched for tips for better photos and came across photos of Andromeda and the Pleiades, which were also made only with a camera. After the comet was no longer visible, I bought new equipment and got into astrophotography.

Unfortunately, I rarely had time to photograph or there was bad weather for a long time. In addition, the conditions in our garden are bad, because there is a company next to us, which illuminate their area all night. So I am quickly pushed to my limits. To solve the problems I rented Telescopes in Spain by RoboScopes. With these telescopes most of my images are taken and I regularly get new data. My long term goal is to put my own equipment in a professional observatory.

You can see all my images on my gallery.
